Celestine Prophecy movie
The All Faith Consortium hosted a sneak preview of The Celestine Prophecy Movie — at the Reeves Municipal Center in Washington, DC.

Based on James Redfield's worldwide best-selling novel, The Celestine Prophecy is a spiritual adventure film chronicling the discovery of ancient scrolls in the rainforests of Peru. The prophecy and its nine key insights predict a worldwide awakening, arising within all religious traditions, that moves humanity toward a deeper experience of spirituality.

Emergency Food and Shelter Program: FEMA
The All Faith Consortium was awarded the Emergency Food and Shelter Program (EFSP) grant sponsored by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to supplement and expand ongoing efforts to provide shelter, food, and supportive services for homeless and hungry individuals in our nation and to help other citizens with economic (non-disaster-related) emergencies.
Help For Homeless Vets: Transitional Housing program
The All Faith Consortium (AFC) has been selected to work with the United States Department of Veterans Affairs and the VA Grant and Per Diem Office to establish a 43-50 bed Transitional Housing Program for homeless veterans in the Washington, DC area. The plan combines three proven service delivery strategies: 1). Intensive case management with wrap-around supportive services; 2). Therapeutic community treatment milieu; and 3). Neuro-Associative Conditioning techniques. This program is one 34 in the nation and is anticipated to act as the model for all other programs of its type. Facility is expected open in the Fall of 2007.

Salute Your Service: Stand Down Expo
The All Faith Consortium takes another step to reaching and serving America's Veterans in its annual "Salute Your Service-Stand Down" Expo. This forum is designed to inform the American public of the tremendous challenges placed upon America's Veterans, while we simultaneously motivate, educate and begin placing homeless veterans into critical personalized services that will help them overcome these challenges and restore their sense of dignity.

The All Faith Consortium organized these services so that thousands of caring volunteers and professionals will give of their time, resources, and expertise to address the unique needs of homeless veterans in Washington and throughout the Nation.
