Hurrican Katrina : Their Lives Will Never Be The Same
Hurricane Katrina severely impacted the lives of tens of millions of people: unknown thousands were killed; 1,000,000 were affected, in varying degrees, throughout the Gulf Coast of the United States, 5,000,000 lost electrical power, or suffered rain and wind damage as far north as Canada.

Awe-struck citizens of our country, and faith-based institutions like the All Faith Consortium, have provided the critical majority of the aid, comfort and care dispensed thus far. We remain stedfast in providing the aid, comfort and care that is still required to victims.

  • We continue to provide job training and job placement for every veteran who needs it.
  • We continue to provide emergency assistance, information and access to local and federal benefits to meet their immediate and longer-term needs.
  • We continue to provide counseling and cognitive behavior therapy for veterans that are suffering from Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
  • Much of the funding for this relief effort is from AFC's very own budget. Your help is needed to inform the public and make a cash donation so that together we can offer direct, rapid, and efficient humanitarian response. In an effort to assist veterans in need, the All Faith Consortium offers an Disaster Relief Center and Hotline.

We invite you to make a donation that will help to enable and empower the All Faith Consortium to provide shelter, training and job placement for the veterans that were devastated by the affects of Hurricane Katrina. Your donations will also help us to continue to send emergency food and supplies to veterans in New Orleans.
